It is so rare to find chicken piccata that is the real deal: no cream, lots of lemon and white wine, capers. I'm super picky about it. I decided to get the chicken piccata today from this place and it was the best I've had in the area in a long time. My only gripe is that there was nowhere for me to sit (inside or outside) while I waited for my food. A bench would have been nice. Keep up the great job, and don't change that piccata recipe!

They did a great job for the holiday decorations inside. The seating itself is a little crammed. I would suggest making a reservation and asking to not be sat near the door. We constantly had people bumping into us all night unapologetically and that kind of ruined the vibe. Our waitress was really nice and full of energy for the evening. She also gave us some good recommendations. The pasta was really good. I got the cheese they set on fire and then put the pasta in it. My husband got pasta with clams. We didn't try the cocktails, but they looked good too, I'll probably try it next time. Overall I enjoyed my experience, I'll just request another table next time, but I plan on coming back.

Our daughter had seen a ad come up for Carbonara in her social media feed, while visiting from Tennessee. She made a reservation prior to her flying home and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, we had, Talha! He was so personable and made excellent recommendations for dinner, that we did not regret. The service really made this experience. However, the food was standalone deliciousness and only enhanced by the ambience of the restaurant. - I ordered the appetizer for my meal, parmigiana di melanzane, the portion was enormous, and I took half of it home. It has ruined me for eggplant Parm anywhere else, because I've never tasted any eggplant Parm this good. - My daughter, then ordered the Bucatini Carbonara Tableside, which was a taste of heaven. There were so many flavors and having seen it prepared at table-side with the fiery cheese wheel, was amazing. - My husband ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Alla Vodka, which was delicious. But the best part was that there was so much food we were able to share and still take plenty home. Since we were celebrating her birthday, we ordered the Italian crème brûlée cheesecake. But the surprise was that Talha, also brought out an additional portion of their tiramisu because of her birthday and both were scrumptious !

Food was amazing! Service was outstanding! Talha, our waiter, made awesome recommendations and made our dinner a night to remember!

Finally was able to get a reservation here! The hype is genuinely real and I will be back. Went for Christmas Eve and everything was so flavorful and delicious. The fries mozzarella and arancini were our appetizers; for entrees we got the famous chicken parmigiana and tortellini de Michael which is braised beef tortellini with mushroom in a cream sauce. 10/10 The place is smaller than I imagined which I think adds to one of the factors to them being booked out, but there's plenty of room between tables.

This place is a gem, came here with a large party of friends. I admit it was rather small but again big things come in small packages. The service was amazing, our waiter was super knowledgeable of the menu. He suggested I get the chicken Parmesan not only was amazing but one of a kind. The food was so amazing and even tasted the same the next day. I will be coming back to try other items on the menu. Good food to go along with live frank Sinatra songs lol

We came here for a last minute lunch and it did not disappoint! I was able to get a last minute reservation online. The restaurant is small and cozy. The staff was pretty friendly. I loved the expresso martini flight! They have the most delicious flavors. We enjoyed the pasta dishes. There is plenty of street parking in the area. I will definitely return!

I am obsessed with this place, ever since one of my best friends introduced me to the wonder that is Carbonara in Ballston (Arlington, VA) earlier this year! I've visited again on numerous occasions, including for my birthday brunch with friends in the not too distant past. The food is always delicious, the portions are excellent and generous, and the ambiance of the restaurant is great. Service has always been dependable each time I've visited. I recommend making a reservation, if you can, since this place tends to fill up fast, as it's very popular! My favorite things to order here are: -Bucatini Carbonara (homemade bucatini sautéed with guanciale, & egg yolk with a touch of cream) - this is their signature dish and is WONDERFUL. It's truly heavenly and my mouth is watering now just thinking about it again. They make it table-side, and it's really fun to watch your food being made out of a large cheese wheel! -Famous Chicken Parmigiana Alla Vodka (vodka sauce, mozzarella & parmigiano reggiano served with spaghettini) - This is another one of their signature dishes, and I love how they serve the sauce tableside. The sauce is truly ambrosial. -Lobster Ravioli - this was simply yum as well! So rich and full of flavor. -Arancini balls (italian arborio rice rolled & stuffed with mozzarella, bolognese meat, and tiny peas. served with sunday sauce) -Caesar salad (pancetta, fresh grated parmigiano cheese & homemade croutons) I truly love Italian food, so this place gets 5 big stars from me!! If I could give it many more stars, I absolutely would. I look forward to many more visits in the future!

I went to carbonara for the first time with my s/o today, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the fried calamari which also came with fried peppers and zucchini. The fry was perfect! I also ordered the espresso martini flight, and went with pistachio, tiramisu, and the Ferrero Rocher. They were all delicious, but beware of the heavy pour! I ended up ordering the Bucatini Carbonara tableside, and my s/o ordered the chicken parmigiana alla vodka. Both dishes exceeded our expectations, and it's satisfying to watch the flaming cheese wheel, and the pan of sauce and cheese fold onto the chicken parm. I also wanted to give a shout out to Cody, who was our server. He was approachable and knowledgeable of the menu and even went above and beyond knowing that we were here to celebrate our anniversary. Cody was also the one who made the espresso martinis and it was impressive watching him shake three different martinis at the same time. Cody was fantastic and I would highly recommend anyone to ask for him when visiting Carbonara. I'll definitely be coming back! Thank you, Cody!
